Sodium Hyaluronate
The salt form of hyaluronic acid and one of the most widely used humectants in modern skincare — a reliable hydration workhorse for serums, creams and masks.
What is Sodium Hyaluronate?
Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Compared with the free acid it is more stable, easier to disperse in water and, at lower molecular weights, distributes more evenly in a formula. We supply cosmetic-grade material produced by vegan biofermentation, available in several molecular-weight ranges so you can tune film-forming (high MW) versus lighter, more even distribution (low MW).
Key benefits in cosmetic formulations
- Strong water-binding humectant for immediate and lasting skin-feel hydration
- Multiple molecular weights to tune sensorials and layering
- Vegan, biofermentation-derived — no animal origin
- Excellent for lightweight serums, essences, sheet masks and gels
Typical use level & formulation notes
- Use level
- 0.1–2%
- Solubility
- Water-soluble
- pH / stability
- Stable across typical skincare pH (approx. 4–8)
- Form
- Powder
- Notes
- Sprinkle slowly into the water phase with good agitation and allow to hydrate fully before adding actives; blends of high and low MW give the most rounded skin-feel.
Guidance only — always confirm use levels and compatibility against the current technical data sheet and your own stability and safety testing.

Documentation & sourcing
Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). We focus on hard-to-source specialty actives with small minimum order quantities, so indie brands and lab formulators can buy realistic amounts and scale later — stocked in and shipped across the EU.
